The university of Leuven

Situated in Belgium, in the heart of Western Europe, KU Leuven has been a centre of learning for nearly six centuries. Founded in 1425 by Pope Martin V, KU Leuven bears the double honour of being the oldest extant Catholic university in the world and the oldest university in the Low Countries.

The lunches and conference dinner will take place in the Jubilee Hall of the KU Leuven University Hall, Naamsestraat 22, 3000 Leuven, Belgium.

The University Hall is the University historic main building, and is centrally located in Leuven, Belgium. This building is the monumental heart and official seat of the University. This oak panelled hall, lined with the portraits of former rectors, is the location where the university convenes for its most prestigious activities: the celebration of honorary doctorates, graduations, conferences, etc.
